I'm okay with slow pacing sometimes, if I like the other elements enough.Ayleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07639250102446794830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11403564.post-80763245229102187902015-11-05T00:11:09.240-05:002015-11-05T00:11:09.240-05:00Hello, Z! It's kind of a disappointment though, that her ability plays a little role in the book as it's the one that made this interesting for me.Chelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09113611207753873326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11403564.post-83266851110854244402015-11-03T09:35:53.461-05:002015-11-03T09:35:53.461-05:00I definitely wanted her ability to play a bigger r...I definitely wanted her ability to play a bigger role in this one too Z, it read more as a straight western than anything paranormal (which was fine, I really enjoyed it!), but I'm really looking forward to it being expanded in future books:)Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14199685365145765394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11403564.post-22805730021642559762015-11-02T19:30:58.561-05:002015-11-02T19:30:58.561-05:00Hmmm, the slow pace of this one might not work for...Hmmm, the slow pace of this one might not work for me, but I do think the setting sounds really cool! Very few (if any) other YA books are set in the Gold Rush era, so that's something different. Plus Leah sounds pretty awesome, and if I like a character enough I might be able to get on board with the slower pace/less plot. danyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07947267082874389487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11403564.post-40394718662971092112015-11-02T17:14:26.472-05:002015-11-02T17:14:26.472-05:00I loved this book! I felt that the story was slow-paced at times as well, like we didn't need a whole story on the traveling, it was fun and interesting, but it was kind of pointless. I can't wait for the second book!

Asma @ IceyBooksAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18102480341726065502noreply@blogger.com
