This week, Jessica from Confessions of a Bookaholic, Lisa from A Life Bound by Books, Rachel from Fiktshun and Jaime and Patricia from Two Chicks on Books are hosting the Top 10 of 2011 Blog Event

Today, we're picking the top ten books we've read in 2011. Here's my list (in no particular order):
  1. The Queen of Attolia and The King of Attolia (Books 2 and 3 of The Queen's Thief series) by Megan Whalen Turner
  2. Raw Blue by Kirsty Eagar
  3. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
  4. Divergent by Veronica Roth
  5. Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma
  6. Where She Went by Gayle Forman
  7. The River of Time series by Lisa T. Bergren
  8. Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead
  9. My Sparkling Misfortune by Laura Lond
  10. Die For Me by Amy Plum

  1. Heheh. I like your picture and I can only agree with Divergent and Forbidden. I read The Hunger Games last year, so.. And I loved Vampire Academy as well! The other books I haven't read yet, but you made me curious - It seems like we have a similiar taste in books. *g*

Too bad you don't seem to have Networked Blogs. I'll follow you via the normal Feed, but I think I won't follow you via GFC. We are still fighting.. *makes face*

    Happy Holidays (and Happy Reading!!),

  2. I agree with Hunger Games, Diverent, Where She Went, and Last Sacrifice. I also loved Supernaturally and Demonglass. I really want to read Legend.
    My Top 10 of 2011

  3. Die For Me and Divergent are part of my honorable mentions. :) I also really enjoyed The Hunger Games and Last Sacrifice, although my favorite book of the Vampire Academy series is Shadow Kiss (which is part of my Top 10 list, too). :)

    Thanks for sharing,

  4. Great list! The Hunger Games trilogy will always be a favorite and Divergent, Where She Went, and Die For Me also made it to my list. The River of Time series is also amazing.I have Forbidden sitting on my shelf for months now. For some reason I can't seem to be able to pick it up. I guess I'm just a little scared because of the sensitive topic it deals with. Hopefully by next year I'd have the courage to read it!

  5. Great list! I've read only The Hunger Games, but the rest are on my tbr list :D

  6. I loved Raw Blue too, I debated with myself about it being in my top ten, like most people I think I could have had a top twenty and then some!

    My top ten

  7. I've only read the Hunger Games and Divergent & absolutely loved them both! I've still got to read If I Stay before I pick up Where She Went, same goes for Paranormalacy and Hex Hall. :-D

  8. Divergent & Forbidden are on my wishlist. I really enjoyed Waterfall and can't wait to read the rest of the series.

    Thanks for sharing your list.

  9. Lots of great picks on your list. I either have read most of them or they are sitting in my tbr pile. Divergent had to make my list and had I read The Hunger Games or If I Stay this year, they would have made my list too.

  14. I have heard of The Queen of Attolia and The King of Attolia but I never got a chance to read it. I guess it's good thats why it's here. I don't know about Raw Blue, must check it out. The Hunger Games yes! I love that book, Divergent and Forbidden as well. Where She Went didn't do much to me, If I Stay made it to my list tho. I've read Waterfall and it's an awesome start to a series. I only got to read Frostbite from the VA series. Die for Me is a new breath of Paranormal it also made it in my list.
